ANU hires Victoria McGreer and Philip Pettit from Princeton. They will each be half-time at ANU starting in spring of 2013. The other half of the time they will remain at Princeton.
Birmingham hires Maja Spener and Scott Sturgeon from Oxford.
That new Yale-National University of Singapore collaboration hired Nico Sillins. He’s currently at Cornell: courses.cit.cornell.edu/ns338/
From a reader: Silins will remain at Cornell through 2013, after which he will join Yale-NUS for at least two years. Silins will be on leave from Cornell during those two years.
Rutgers hires David Albert of Columbia, one term (and one course during that term) per year.
Yale Law School hires Gideon Yaffe from USC
Yaffe will have a secondary appointment in the philosophy department and be available to supervise graduate students. His teaching schedule within the philosophy department has yet to be determined.
Kansas hires John Symons from UT-El Paso
Symons will be joining the department as Chair.
UIUC hires Andrew Arana (Logic, Phil Math) as Associate Professor from Kansas State University.
University of Cincinnati hires Anthony Chemero (cognitive science, philosophy of science) from Franklin and Marshall.
Glasgow hires Fraser MacBride (Metaphysics, Phil Math) from Cambridge. MacBride will be the Chair of Logic and Rhetoric.
UT-Austin hires Michelle Montague (philosophy of mind, metaphysics) from Bristol and Galen Strawson (philosophy of mind, metaphysics) from Reading. Strawson will hold a newly created Chair.
UConn has hired Susan Schneider (Philosophy of Mind, Metaphysics, Cognitive Science) from the University of Pennsylvania, to begin August 2013.
University of Adelaide has hired Antony Eagle from Oxford.

University of Michigan has hired Timothy Williamson (Metaphysics, Epistemology, Logic, Language) of Oxford. As the Nelson Professor, Williamson will visit the University of Michigan each March, during which he’ll teach an intensive graduate seminar. He will remain the Wykeham Professor of Logic at Oxford University.
