No indication of who is running the show. That isn’t right. Takes the professional right out of “professional philosophy news.”

I’d like to read philosophy news without political commentary, and it looks like this blog will provide that. It doesn’t matter to me that the blog is anonymously run. I can’t see that it should.

Bravo! This is great to see. As long as you don’t spin the news and editorialize, there’s no need for you to announce your identity. It’s just an aggregator.

This blog is great. My colleagues and I are happy to know of a philosophy news webpage without gratuitous commentary.

I don’t see why making one’s identity known is a necessary condition for professionalism here. Let’s see how the person / people run the show. They seem to be doing fine for now.

I’d like to know who’s running the show; why hide it? Or at least have some sort of mission statement that says more than this “about” (i.e., nothing).

Um… because people can be petty and vindictive?

    Keep up the good work!

Very happy to see this blog. Thank you!

This is excellent — and much-needed! We have had more than enough of over-inflated egos, name-dropping, and cults of personality. A professional philosophy news site that is actually about the news (rather than the site authors) is most welcome. Bravo, and good luck!

    I appreciate this.

I can’t believe I’m just finding out about this blog. Such a thing is long overdue.

Dear ProPhilosopher (whoever you are). I have a specific reason for wanting to contact you in confidence. I promise not to reveal your identity to anyone else. In fact, I don’t even need to know your identity so long as I can send you a private email.
