Proposal for an APA Journal redux

ProPhilosophy recently noted Robert Audi‘s (Notre Dame) proposal that the APA establish its own philosophy journal. Today, a reader sent in a PDF of that proposal (click the middle button marked “Download”). Reactions?

    Hopefully the APA journal will not be edited by Simon Critchley and turned into a hermeneutical journal of the Other

    Excellent idea! The most recent issue of the APA journal should replace the Gideon Bible in your hotel conference room.

    Great idea. I wonder why he talks about the “paper version” in a few places; a great starting point would be to not do paper at all.

    Yes, no need for a paper version, online only, open-access funded by a modest increase ($15 per year) in APA membership dues. We could draft a fair-minded and efficient editor from one of the commercial publishers.
