Women at Northwestern

Northwestern University’s Women into Philosophy celebrated its one-year anniversary with a talk by Berit Brogaard (UMSL), reports the Daily Northwestern. The group has get-togethers twice per quarter, and has acquired 15 new members during its year of existence. The goals of the group are to expose women to prominent women in philosophy, to reduce the gender gap in Northwestern’s undergraduate philosophers, and to connect graduate students and undergraduates.
