Philosophy Apps

ProPhi learns from a Brian Leiter (law, UChicago) blog post that Wiley-Blackwell has a new, free philosophy app.

The app is from Philosophy Compass (a Wiley-Blackwell journal that publishes surveys of current hot topics in philosophy), it is for the iPhone, and it is called Philosophy Spotlight. There are a couple philosophy apps out already that might interest philosophers: Philosophy Bites, which was the topic of this NY Times article, and AskPhil, which is a product of AskPhilosophers.org.

Philosophy Spotlight and AskPhil are both free. Philosophy Bites costs $2.99.
